Our Story: From Confusion to Clarity

Salesforce can feel like a puzzle with too many corner pieces missing.

When Jeremy Carmona first opened it years ago, he stared at a screen of objects and automation menus, wondering what he’d just gotten himself into.

That moment sparked the idea for Clear Concise Consulting—a space where people who weren’t born speaking “tech” could finally get straight answers.

The Journey That Started It All

After spending years as a journalist, Jeremy found himself suddenly thrust into the world of Salesforce with no technical background, no training, and no clear path forward.

That feeling of confusion, impostor syndrome, and technical overwhelm became the catalyst for creating Clear Concise Consulting.

I remember sitting alone in the office at 7:43 PM, staring at a screen full of unfamiliar fields and objects, wondering if I’d made a terrible mistake trying to work in tech. That moment of confusion and doubt is what drives everything we do today because I know exactly how it feels to be on the other side.

From Struggling to Certified Expert

Jeremy's journey from confused beginner to certified Salesforce professional wasn't straightforward. It involved:

  • Late nights trying to understand technical documentation

  • The frustration of learning through trial and error

  • The realization that most Salesforce resources weren't designed for people without technical backgrounds

Eventually, Jeremy not only mastered Salesforce but went on to earn 13 certifications and help over 160 students transition into Salesforce careers as an instructor at NYU.

Clear Concise Consulting is Born

The experience of struggling to learn Salesforce, then helping others through the same journey, revealed a clear need in the market: Salesforce guidance specifically designed for non-technical people, career changers, and organizations without IT departments.

Founded in 2018, Clear Concise Consulting was built on a simple premise:

Salesforce isn't actually that complicated, it's just explained poorly.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make Salesforce accessible to everyone, regardless of technical background, by:

To make Salesforce feel manageable again for the people keeping nonprofits running.

We believe good technology should empower, not intimidate.

And if we can make someone say, “Oh, that finally makes sense,” that’s a good day.

Our Approach

  1. We make it make sense. Before touching a single field, we walk you through what’s happening and why.

  2. We work with what you have. No “rip-and-replace” unless absolutely necessary.

  3. We document everything. So your next admin doesn’t have to guess.

  4. We teach as we go. Every project includes a mini-training for your team.

  5. We care about outcomes. Clean dashboards, better donor retention, happier staff.

Our clients call it “clarity that sticks.”
